A flaring machine is specialized equipment used to process pipe end bevels and flares prior to performing construction operations such as heat fusion butt welding and socket connections on plastic pipes, particularly thermoplastic pipes like HDPE, PP-R, and PVC. Its primary purpose is to ensure precise pipe alignment, high-quality welds, and the integrity of the connection's seal and strength during pipe joining.

Primary Functions
1. Beveling (Chamfering): After cutting the pipe end flat, a beveled surface at a specific angle (typically 30° or 45°) is machined. This is critical for fusion butt welding, ensuring full contact between the two pipe ends, eliminating air pockets, and forming a uniform, defect-free weld ring.
2. Flaring (Expanding): Primarily used for socket connections. After heating and softening the outer pipe end, a die expands it into a bell shape to facilitate s

Taking the beveling process with a hydraulic automatic flaring machine as an example, the main steps are summarized as follows:

1. Preparation: Trim and clean the pipe end, select clamping blocks and dies compatible with the pipe material.

2. Clamping and Positioning: Place the pipe into the fixture, adjust the exposed end length, and secure the pipe with the clamping cylinder.

3. Heating and Softening: After the heating plate reaches the set temperature, it advances to contact the pipe end and performs timed heating.

4. Retract heating plate: After heating completes, the heating plate automatically retracts.

5. Hydraulic forming: The hydraulic cylinder advances the die, applying pressure to form the softened pipe end.

6. Pressure hold and cooling: The die maintains pressure while the pipe end cools and sets.

7. Open die and remove part: The die retracts, the fixture releases, and the formed pipe section is removed.

1. How do you make the quotation for clients? 

The quotation depends on customer's raw material and capacity,  If possible, please let me know your budget range so that I can recommend the most correct equipment for you with suitable price.

 

2. How long does  it take from manufacturing to final inspection? 

Typically, our pelletizing lines have a production lead time of 2 months, while washing lines require at least 3 months depending on the capacity and umber of machines in the order.

 

3. What payment terms do you accept for first-time buyers?

30% as down payment by T/T; 70% by T/T before delivery and after inspection

 

4. Do you have any after sales service? 

When all the equipment are completed, we will connect all the machines and run the full production line for inspection to ensure the stable running in customers' factory.

After the commissioning, we will package the equipment by the standard export package for shipment.

After appointment with the customer, our engineers will go to the customers' factory for installation and training. 

Engineers, sales managers, and after-sales service managers will form an after-sales team, online and offline, to follow the customers' project.
